Rene Marie Russo is an American actress filmmaker and a former supermodel. She is known for her beautiful beauty and her endurance in the competitive film industry reflects her talent and skills as performer. In the late 1970s the model began her career and quickly became one of the leading names in this field. She was a theatre and acting student in the early part of the decade, before starring on stage in Los Angeles, and other areas of California. Russo was first seen on screen on ABCs drama series Sable in 1987 portraying the character of Eden Kendell. Two years later she played Tom Berengers love interest in her first movie Major League. Some critics who were initially skeptical by her acting abilities however, eventually became convinced by her continuous performance. In Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak she was hailed by critics for her performance against Dustin Hoffman, Morgan Freeman and many others. According to her, she was never a fan for acting. She self-imposed a long vacation in 2005. After that, she staged a comeback in Thor. Also, she was in her husbands Oscar award-winning film Nightcrawler. The Intern, and Just Getting Started were humorous comedies in which she starred.
Rose Namajunas was one of UFC's most popular female athletes. She started her career as an amateur fighter competing in various regional promotions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships and later becoming a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Because of her success in and outside the Octagon, Namajunas has become an everyday word ever since her joining the UFC. Namajunas is born the 29th of June on the 29th of June, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrant family. Rose was involved in a variety of activities as a kid like basketball, and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships was her first fight in professional. At 18, she was a winner of two fights by submission. Dana White took notice of her performance and had her signed to UFC's strawweight category in the month of December, 2014 when Rose was only 22. In the course of Rose her career, she's gone through periods of both highs and lows but each times she has come out ahead. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza in April 2015 in the Women's Strawweight Title. Rose won the bout through a technical knockout, which occurred within three minutes in the initial round. It was the first time a woman competed for a title title with any major promotion worldwide. Namajunas won a number of fights following her win including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. It resulted in Namajunas Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
